Lack of light, fear of frostbite and a remorseless rehearsal schedule have conspired to keep me away from my trusty brick wall for far too long... But now the sun is shining past 4pm, the mercury is nudging 8 degrees, and I have an unexpected night off from operating imaginary machinery/stealing imaginary meatballs/drinking imaginary brandy, so here I am...

This New Year, I was lucky enough to win a £50 F&F voucher in their #WinterBling Instagram competition (with 2013's Christmas Day OOTD) so, true to form, I decided to re-invest my winnings in some more blingtastic goodies... Starting with these sequinned joggers - being able to wear sequins all day, any day, all year round? Irresistible.

#Célfie

With Féline ticked off the hilare-designer-parody-tee bucket list, it was only a matter of time until the obligatory Célfie selfies were taken... Good ol' eBay came to the rescue once again, with a sub-£10 beaut... and, whilst I was there, I took the opportunity to indulge my latest jewellery lusts with a Zara-dupe cluster pearl choker and a couple of sets of stacking midi rings, all with change from a fiver... Meanwhile, away from the laptop, I managed to snag this pleated pastel blue midi from Dorothy Perkins for a cheeky £15... now that's what I call a good cost-per-selfie célfie rate.

As an antidote to last week's extreme co-ordination, some serious clashing was in order... and since I've kinda done mono-on-mono and stripes vs. flowers to death (not, I'm sure, that you've seen the last of either), I decided to give something different a whirl, by bringing together a couple of old faithfuls for a leopard/stripe skirmish...

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink* (Sale Steal III)

*OK, I actually took these pictures on Saturday, but I would still, like, totally wear this on a Wednesday if I wasn't going to be spending the evening on a picnic rug surrounded by wine and cream cakes (it's a hard, hard life).

Anyway, my third and final LOVE sale splurge was this jaw-dropping jumpsuit - on paper, a pastel pink, strapless, harem-style onesie sounds like something even Barbie might think twice about, but, having seen how stunning the powder blue version looked on Lucy Meck, I decided to be brave and give it a whirl... and I couldn't love it more! Perfect party wear, but also justifiable pre-5pm, pre-October, I think (and yes, I have road-tested this theory!).

And the Chanel-dupe pearl accessories? £3.71 for the set including (very speedy) international delivery - I love eBay!

Féline Good: Brian Lichtenberg eBay Dupe

I've been a tad tardy in boarding the Brian Lichtenberg designer-parody bandwagon, but I can never resist a slogan T-shirt trend for too long... nor, indeed, any item of clothing relating to cats. This £8.99 eBay version is the purrfect (*groan*) dupe for the BLTEE, er, dupe. I'm optimistic that its nonchalant high-low vibe will effortlessly revitalise my old staples for summer, beginning with my patent midis... rather Parisienne, non?
