Taking it to the Max...

Yep, I think the faux fur + fedora (+/- pleather) equation is going to be a recurrent theme this season... Having invested in two more furry cover-ups - a shaggy H&M gilet and a Primark teddy bear coat - along with this gorgeous chain-trim floppy number, I decided to utilise them to autumn/winterise my favourite printed maxi, '70s style...

Fun Fur Fervour

Autumn/Winter is now synonymous with faux fur 'n' fedoras, (p)leather 'n' plaid and burgundy 'n' black for me, so, when this gorgeous blackened-burgundy jacket (Sesame Street residents, eat your hearts out) and pitch-perfect classic black hat alerted me to a couple of gaping voids in my AW14 wardrobe, they were never going to escape my clutches...

The Peplum and the Pea Coat

Because a girl can never have too many coats... or too many items of clothing beginning with P, this '60s style yellow pea coat, first spied at the Matalan AW14 press day back in May, was top of my birthday wish list... and just happened to be the perfect length to showcase my new pep-hem knit too!
