On Wednesdays We Wear Pink* (Sale Steal III)

*OK, I actually took these pictures on Saturday, but I would still, like, totally wear this on a Wednesday if I wasn't going to be spending the evening on a picnic rug surrounded by wine and cream cakes (it's a hard, hard life).

Anyway, my third and final LOVE sale splurge was this jaw-dropping jumpsuit - on paper, a pastel pink, strapless, harem-style onesie sounds like something even Barbie might think twice about, but, having seen how stunning the powder blue version looked on Lucy Meck, I decided to be brave and give it a whirl... and I couldn't love it more! Perfect party wear, but also justifiable pre-5pm, pre-October, I think (and yes, I have road-tested this theory!).

And the Chanel-dupe pearl accessories? £3.71 for the set including (very speedy) international delivery - I love eBay!

Mesh Panel Co-Ords

What with midnight (plus mid-day and mid-evening) flits to the theatre, turning myself black and blue at beginners' pole dancing classes and attempting to sample the summer specials on every menu in London (ice cream burger, anyone?), I seem to have less free time to dedicate to blogging, sleeping and suchlike than I did during term-time! Nevertheless, I am making a valiant effort not to neglect my shopping/clothing acquisition duties... Mesh panel co-ords with a sports luxe twist? Yep, that's three ticks from me... and in fresh summer white and priced at £8 apiece? Unmissable.

Primark Flapper-Style Sunfrock

Primark has offered up yet another contender for summer-dress-of-the-year, in the shape of this '20s style drop-waisted shift. The sheer, floaty fabric and elegant cut make it glam enough for evening, whilst the boho-style crochet detailing dresses it down just enough to make it daytime-appropriate too... and all for £15 - sold.

Sale Steal II: LOVE Blush Lace Plunge Neck Playsuit

I've not had quite as much time as I'd have liked to swan around in lace and pearls over the last couple of weeks, since I've been too busy attending fictional tea parties/being crucified/seducing interviewers on boardroom tables (primarily for the purposes of my end-of-year acting presentation and not purely recreationally), so it's time to make up for it, pesky showers or no! This was another LOVE sale bargain - and, yes, another playsuit, but it looked like such a versatile summer staple I couldn't resist... I'm dressing it down with gladiators and dangly boho accessories for day, and up with piled-on pearls and kitten heels for high-society soirées the hell of it.

Sale Steal: LOVE Wrap Front Playsuit

I'd been invited to LOVE HQ to pore/paw over their SS14 collection a couple of times over the last few months, and could only stare in covetous awe at their cute-as-candy ranges of ice-cream coloured wondrousness... So it was with unmixed delight that I discovered last week that, not only were many of their key pieces now on sale for a steal, but that I could snap up any 2 sale items for a mere £25! Between us, Mummy Muses and I grabbed 4 pieces for £50, saving a massive £200 on the original list prices - yep, that's what I call a result. This pink playsuit was the first addition to our virtual basket - part nymph, part '70s glamourpuss, and spot-on for running/wafting around in flat glads for day, or dancing the night away in metallic platforms for (Studio 54-inspired) summer nights...
